Driver Installation

Install USB-to-serial drivers for your operating system to enable communication with your device.

Modern operating systems often have built-in drivers. Try connecting your device first—if it's recognized, you don't need to install anything.

Linux udev Rules

On Linux, you may need to add udev rules to access serial ports without root.

Add user to dialout group
sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

After running this command, log out and log back in for changes to take effect.

macOS: Drivers are typically not needed on macOS 10.15+. If you have issues, try installing the Silicon Labs CP210x driver.
